How to take Sibutramine 106650-56-0?
Sibutramine is taken once daily, generally in the morning. Therapy usually is started with one 10mg tablet per day. The dose may be increased to 15mg by the physician after several weeks to achieve the desired effect.
Is sibutramine Meridia effective for weight loss?
At 1 year, adults receiving sibutramine, 10 to 15 mg/d, lost an average of 4.5 kg (9.8 pounds) more than adults receiving placebo. Adults taking sibutramine for 1 year are 19% to 34% more likely to achieve 5% weight loss and 12% to 31% more likely to achieve 10% weight loss than those taking placebo.
